Senior UX/UI Designer vacancy
The BankingON line of mobile banking products provides concierge-like services to credit union members, through a user experience superior to mobile apps offered by core banking systems. Our product is a mobile Platform for Credit Unions and Community banks.
Headquarters: Austin, TX
RND Center: Saint-Petersburg, Russia
We’re looking for a designer who has equal passion for UX and UI design. The position is ideal for someone who finds it contagious to explore solutions to unanswered questions without immediate prompting. People who do well at BankingON are obsessed at educating themselves on why certain products are successful, how people use them, and how those products are improving themselves for their customers. This designer should want to continuously research/understand our customers so as to design workflows that inspire our product.
Requirements:
— Must have at least 4 years professional experience as either a UX or UI designer;
— Experience working in a start-up environment where things move quickly and collaboration with several different departments is a normality;
— Familiar with basing design decisions on personas, research, and user stories. Does not naturally jump to a high-fidelity design on first iterations;
— Must have a portfolio (or at least design work we can see) that shows a dedication to mindful user flows and UI excellence;
— Nice to have but not needed: experience in the financial industry. This can be with either fintechs, banks, core financial system platforms, or related software businesses;
— Again, nice to have but not needed: degree in a related field (i.e. Human and Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, User Research).
