Remote (or Belgrade) – Part-Time (20 hours/week). Clay is a global design agency building world-class digital products and brands. Our clients include Meta, Slack, Google, Snapchat, Amazon, Coinbase, and many innovative startups. We’re looking for a Type Designer to join our team at Clay on a part-time basis. This is a flexible opportunity to work alongside a world-class design team on both internal and client-facing projects.
Что будет делать дизайнер? (обязанности)
- Design and develop typefaces for both internal and commercial use
- Collaborate with the Brand Design team on custom lettering and wordmarks
- Work on custom fonts for clients
- Contribute to the creation and release of original Clay typefaces
Скиллы дизайнера (требования)
- A strong foundation in type design and a deep understanding of typographic principles;
- A refined graphic sensibility and ability to work across a variety of styles;
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams, including close interaction with the brand team to ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines;
- Strong written English skills, fluency in spoken English is preferred;
- Experience with brand identity systems or working within a design studio environment.
