Что будет делать дизайнер? (обязанности)
About the positionWe are looking for a talented Pre-Press Graphic Designer to join our Product team. Mira is looking for someone highly motivated and hands-on with the ability to see a brief through from initial concept to final print-ready artwork and eager to push the brand forward with industry-leading design. Working to continuous product launches, we are looking for someone highly-organized. Pre-Press Graphic Designer will help Mira meet marketing needs by creating attractive packaging and user manuals for our products. Responsibilities:
- Work with the Product Manager to assist in new product development and existing product modifications.
- Create packaging designs that match the brand profile, engage with consumers, and clearly communicate the intended use of the product.
- Create other printed materials such as user manuals, brochures, and insert cards.
- Ensure artwork is print-ready by adjusting layouts, formats, and image resolution, while adhering to industry standards.
- Produce highly finished concepts and mock-ups of packaging for internal review.
- Create technical specification, including technical sketches, measurement specifications, fold details, and quality standards.
- Create designs that are aligned with brand standards and legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Create and maintain an organized library of final design files.
Скиллы дизайнера (требования)
- Demonstrated expertise in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
- A deep understanding of pre-press processes, including color separations, trapping, bleeds, and file preparation for various printing methods.
- Attention to detail to identify and rectify potential design and print issues before final production.
- Familiarity with various printing techniques, paper types, and finishes to optimize designs for specific printing processes.
- Knowledge of typography principles and typeface selection to enhance design aesthetics and readability.
- Previous experience in packaging design
- This role is project-based, we are looking for someone on an hourly basis
